I Listen is a Taranaki Based Audiology Service based in Oakura and Stratford. This is a sole Audiologist Practice, so Alan Ferguson will be attending to you personally. Alan is NZ's first audiologist in Private Practice and set up the Audiology Service for Taranaki in 1988. Alan specializes in fitting bespoke hearing aids and communication devices. He cleans ears by microsuction, curettage and ear candling and does everything professionally and personably and his real satisfaction is when your problems are solved. Alan also does regular visiting clinics to Tauranga and his expertise in the fitting of Rexton and Persona hearing aids is without peer in the Southern Hemisphere. "With today's modern technology properly fitted hearing aids should work extremely well - most often the cause of little or no use is poor professional fitting in the first place... If that's your problem, then you need to see me and get them adjusted properly."
NZ Hearing Aids also distributes auragel which is an earmould sealant lubricant developed by Alan in the early 1980's and sold successfully all over the world. auragel is available in 20g boxed tubes and 6g purse sized tubes and can be ordered directly from us via email and PayPal .
